At SullivanFirst we have an opportunity for high school students to attend a week each Summer serving at a work camp through Group Missions. During this week of camp, students get placed into teams with other students and adult leaders and have the opportunity to work on a resident's house in the community in which we work in. This work could range from painting, cleaning, helping with yard work or doing other simple work projects as well as partnering with local organizations to serve children in the community. During the week, students are also challenged to grow in their faith as they interact with evening programs and worship experiences while serving others. While it only lasts a week, the impact from a work camp lasts a lifetime.
This past year Mission Trip was cancelled due to COVID. We are still preparing for this upcoming year's trip and will give regular updates as we approach Summer 2021.
All students from 14 years old (OR entering the 9th grade in the fall of 2019) to 18 years old are welcome to participate.
